BIOLOGICAL PAINTINGS

Biological art lies on the boundary between art and science. I always had a fascination for biology, and when I was a teenager, I was sure I was going to be a biologist or a doctor. However, I became an artist instead, but my paintings always have a biological theme. The paintings are about micro- and macrobiology - about nature's basic patterns, the flow of water, ramifications, bud shootings, DNA, stem cells and viruses.

I work with both doctors and biologists, who help me get microscope photos to inspire my paintings. My art hangs in many medical clinics, dentists and psychologists, and I have performed great artistic decorations at the pharmaceutical company SaxoSmithKline and at four psychiatric hospitals in Denmark. I am a member of the SciArt Initiative and have exhibited my art at New York Hall and Science.

Artistic decoration at Restaurant Geranium. If you've seen art at Geranium, it's my painting you've experienced. New art has arrived in the restaurant here at the turn of the year. The entire restaurant is decorated with a fascinating natural universe where ramifications with wild herbs growing in the Danish nature wind up walls and columns, and small insects crawl around on branches and fly buzzing around the plants. I have painted throughout the restaurant and although my art has got a twist to suit the style of the restaurant, you will easily be able to recognize my paintings in the style.

Murals at the Psychiatric Center at Odense University Hospital. I have painted a large mural in the living room where I painted a bright blue background to create a more cozy atmosphere. In hallways, art elements are painted in the porch, on the walls of the hallway , pillars and at the doors. The art was supposed to create small experiences on the white walls and decorate the department.

Pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline wanted to get paintings to their three large-room offices. In each office, the paintings had to be painted to suit the medical areas being worked on.

At the Youth Psychiatry Department at Glostrup Hospital, a large mural was painted in the common living area. The living room is the focal point for the inlaid, and the goal of the painting was to create a cozy atmosphere that offered a playful positive energy with surprises. The pillars of the room were involved and created a holistic experience in the room.

In paustian's showroom in Nordhavnen, you have been able to experience how the lighting in your living room affects the atmosphere and how you see the art in the living room. In paustian's Showroom, Louis Poulsen has set up a small house where you can see the light change to different moods.

TV STUDIO TOP MODEL

The TV studio for the series "Denmark's next top model" with decorated with my paintings. The rooms were very large, large, and the TV production had problems with the acoustics during filming. Therefore, the art was printed on sound absorbing records.

I have set up several dental clinics, medical clinics, acupuncture clinics and psychological prakis. In addition, you can see several artistic decorations in Danish hospitals.
